Our Stanley Claims $230 Million Dollar Lotto Jackpot!

For Our Stanley, life will never be the same again, as a winning lottery ticket he never knew he had, has just made him one of the wealthiest people in the world.

In a very unusual turn of events, Our Stanley has been awarded the unclaimed lotto jackpot from the 2004 8-state Power-Lotto Ball drawing. The jackpot of $230 million dollars almost went unclaimed until the winning ticket surfaced earlier this week.

Apparently Our Stanley was unaware that he was the owner of the winning lottery ticket until Power-Lotto Ball administrators contacted him to confirm his identity and the winning numbers.

Power-Lotto Ball investigators began searching for Our Stanley after a man identified as Miguel Alvarez presented the winning ticket at an authorized Power-Lotto Ball convenience store in Macon Georgia, only 5 days before the 1 year expiration date of the unclaimed jackpot!

The ticket had Our Stanley's signature on it, which triggered an investigation after Mr. Alvarez failed to produce proper identification and was unalble to provide an adequate explaination about the presence of Our Stanley's signature on the winning ticket.

Mr. Alvarez claims to have found the quick pick ticket while cleaning floors in the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport, but didn’t surrender it to his management or attempt to claim it until recently. Mr. Alvarez is a contract employee working for the city of Atlanta, and was not available for comment.

In an interview with UJ Reporters, Our Stanley said, “This is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me in my life. I never won anything before! The best thing about this is that I never even knew I was the winner, so I haven’t lost any sleep wondering where my lost ticket was!”

Our Stanley went on to tell UJ Reporters that he always signs his tickets immediately after purchase, as to ensure that no one could ever steal them or claim his prize. The ticket was purchased at an airport coffee shop was misplaced or dropped while he was waiting for his plane to depart.

When asked how he plans to spend the money, Our Stanley said “I'm going to have a very long vacation, and then have a really good time for the rest of my life. It's finally my turn!"
